Measuring procedure

1. Apply a reflective mark to the object being measured

2. Install batteries, press “TEST” key, and align the visible light beam with the applied target.

3. When display is stable, release the “TEST” key; then no digits are shown, but the max. / min. / last vale will be stored automatically.

4. Press “MEM” key, max. / min. / last value will display circularly.

Note:

Reflective mark

Cut about 12mm square reflective paper, paste it onto one rotation axis. Note: non-reflective part must be larger than reflective area. If rotation axis is reflective as well, cover it with black tape or paint. Make sure rotation axis is clean and smooth, before pasting reflective paper.

Low speed measurement

When measuring low rotational speed, multiple reflection paper can be glued on the rotary shaft. Display value should be divided by the number of reflection paper.

For long time no use, please take out the batteries.

Memory

When release “TEST” key, no digits are shown, but max. / min. / last vale are stored automatically.

Press “MEM” key, max. / min. / last value will display circularly. (“UP” means max. value, “dn” means min. value, “LA” means last value)
