Invensys laser rangefinder application in industrial automation control

2021-04-19

In the field of modern industrial automation control, there are many ways to locate components. Here we introduce a solution using a non-prism laser range finder.

The industrial-type IMPULSE non-prism laser range finder manufactured by American Laser Technology Company, Hong Kong Diocean Engineering Co., Ltd. as the domestic distributor, has a standard RS232 serial output function and can continuously collect every 0.7 seconds. data. The instrument passes the parameters such as measured slant distance, vertical distance, horizontal distance, and tilt angle to the computer via RS232 data port. The computer judges the target's position based on the obtained data, thereby controlling the position of the mechanical part to change the target and achieve automatic height control. purpose.

The structural features of IMPULSE allow you to use the red spot in the sighting eyepiece mounted on IMPULSE to aim and press the launch button to obtain data such as distance and height within 1 second. No prism is needed as a reflection target. IMPULSE measurements are characterized by the use of multi-function menu-driven operation and built-in tilt sensors (Models 200 and 200LR) to measure data such as horizontal distance, tilt and height. In terms of use, IMPULSE is more considerate of the needs of customers, providing left and right hand operation, data download, optional remote triggering and other functions.

In addition, IMPULSE, which is used in conjunction with options such as MapStar, is even more powerful and can immediately be the most lightweight X, Y and Z 3D measurement system available via the data output. Collectors, software, and other options to meet the needs of customers more extensive measurement work.

Structural features:

Aiming the eyepiece ----- Aiming the eyepiece The inside of the eyepiece is aided by a red aiming point that helps you to accurately aim at the target. The intensity of the red dot can be adjusted to suit different light conditions.

Launcher -------- IMPULSE launches infrared laser signals through the launcher.

Receiving mirror--------The receiving mirror receives the reflected infrared light and transmits the signal to the internal circuit of the instrument for calculation.

Operation buttons ------ Three operation buttons can perform dozens of operations with different cooperation to meet different work needs.

Loudspeakers -------- report the work of the instrument to you through different sounds.

LCD screen ------ The sophisticated backlit LCD screen can meet the needs of your day and night operation, displaying the data you want anywhere, anytime.

The data output port---IMPULSE (InBev) provides the function of data download. You only need to download the data through the data output port for more detailed processing. Internal structure: IMPULSE is mainly composed of one A wide range of laser sensors, a fluid tilt sensor, a sighting eyepiece, and a data output port. IMPULSE combines sensors and software, operates with three buttons on both sides of the instrument, and obtains data on the rear panel LCD.

working principle:

IMPULSE provides instant distance and angle values via laser sensors and tilt sensors. In the measurement work, IMPULSE emits a beam of infrared rays from the launcher. The infrared rays hit the target and reflect back to the receiving mirror, while IMPULSE's laser Sensor calculates the time when the infrared short pulse flies. Determine the distance value, tilt sensor is responsible for measuring the vertical angle, calculate the determined height, elevation angle, slope, horizontal distance and other data.

IMPULSE has a large spectral sensitivity and can measure reflective and non-reflective targets. The maximum distance can be 600 meters (2000 feet), but the actual maximum distance is affected by the specific target and the surrounding environment, determined by the surrounding environment. The tilt sensor can measure 360 degrees. The instrument is displayed as ±180 degrees by the tilt sensor. The instrument holds the level at 0 degrees, rotates upwards to +, and rotates down to -.

Industrial Laser Distance Sensor, we also call it secondary development laser distance module, which support TTL level and CMOS. The laser range sensor can be widely used in professional surveying, mapping, construction, robots, hunting arrows, industrial monitoring and automated measurement applications in electricity, transportation, etc. Our laser distance module supports data communication with RS232, USB with a simple adapter. The results of laser distance sensor can be evaluated with Arduino. We are always looking ahead, hoping we can make every measurement simple in life!
